The unit works to review, evaluate, and coordinate the existing laboratory spaces at the Policlinico, based on the different types of laboratories, spaces, and personnel.
The primary goal of these activities is to optimize laboratory availability and promote interaction among the various research and molecular diagnostics groups, thereby increasing the productivity of the laboratories themselves.
In addition to drafting research projects to obtain grants dedicated to major equipment, the unit evaluates requests for the purchase of strategically important platforms.
Among the main activities is the training of personnel in the use of new high-throughput equipment dedicated to genomic and transcriptomic analysis.
