The
book describes in detail the history and architectural history of the Ospedale Maggiore buildings
and parts of which it is composed, such as for example, the church, the crypt, the archive and library. Also
describes the fate of institutions across the Naviglio canal: Polyclinic Hospital, Dermosifilopatico Via
della Pace, and the hospital said “Fatebenesorelle” then aggregated. In the final part of the work Pecchiai
are also treated the history of the celebration of the Feast of Forgiveness as well as the collection of
portraits owned by the Hospital Benefactor.
